As a solo traveler, I loved the safe and convenient location near Kloof Street with its delicious restaurants and cafes. The self-contained apartments were beautifully furnished and comfortable, providing a home-like atmosphere. Emmy, the host, was incredibly helpful and made great suggestions for things to do in the area. The cleanliness and spaciousness of the place were outstanding.
Felt welcomed, no complaint.

Loved the fully equipped family kitchen, perfect for those nights when I wanted to cook instead of experiencing the local cuisine. And the convenient location allowed me to explore the Huguenot Memorial Museum every day. Such a thrill!
Oh, just adored the rigorous cleaning of high-touch surfaces. Nothing to complain about, really.

The place is close enough to Kloof Street and Company Gardens, the City Bowl and sightseeing and tours, and best place to shop.

Great location. Within 10 minutes driving of Tablemountain, Waterfront, ferry to Robben Island, Castle of Good Hope. Shops and restaurants are nearby on Kloof street. Friendly staff. The manager was very helpful on the day of our departure, so we could leave the luggage after checking out.

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the vibrant restaurants on Kloof Street. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. The service provided by Emmy and Tina was exceptional, they were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The guesthouse also had great facilities, including a communal pool and an honesty bar. I highly recommend this place for its central location and excellent service.
The lighting in the room could have been better, it was a bit difficult to read by at times.

The two large en-suite bedrooms at 5 Camp Street Guesthouse were serviced daily by friendly and competent housekeeping staff. The living area was cozy with a comfortable corner sofa, a coffee table, and a flat-screen TV. It felt like a home away from home, and it was the perfect starting point for exploring this wonderful city.
The only thing I liked less was that one of the houses at the guesthouse was named after a decisive battle fought between the French and the Germans in 1916. But hey, that's just my subjective opinion.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
